  Volando-Flying is currently being used in schools and homes for instruction in Spanish or English as a second language, bilingual programs, Spanish enrichment and Spanish literacy.

Storybook   A beautifully illustrated 184 page storybook with 16 stories or cuentos in English and  Spanish.

 

audio tape  A set of 10 audio cassette tapes in Spanish or English which contain all 16 stories and 24 vocabulary rich songs performed by native language speakers.

Manual   A 400 page detailed Spanish and English teaching manual with 64 lesson plans, four per story.



Big Book   A set of four 11" x 17" Spanish or English Big Books for use in a classroom setting.

 

Program Applications offered through Volando-Flying

       This Spanish and English teaching program is designed to give children and adults the opportunity to learn another language naturally by hearing, seeing and feeling it. The program is primarily designed for children ages 5 to 12. However, because of its flexible format, it can accommodate a wide range of ages (preschool to adult) and those with different reading and communication skills.


     The approach we take is based on the principle that learning is increased when the elements of fun, imagination and emotional involvement exist. Throughout history people have learned naturally while singing songs, listening to stories and playing games. The program expands this natural learning process by engaging students in a variety of coordinated activities that, by participation, adapts the material to fit each student's own learning style. Although the adventure is a fantasy, all the references to geography, history and natural science are accurate. For further enrichment the program can be adapted for studies in these subject areas..
