To give the brain a chance to become familiar with the sounds of the new language, students first listen to the Passive Version of a STORY or CUENTO without looking at the STORYBOOK.
Then, students read along silently in the illustrated STORYBOOK, (nonreaders follow the pictures) as they listen to the STORY or CUENTO and songs presented in the Dramatic Version.
